Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
No where to be, but here right now.
He doesn’t just walk you down the aisle, when you look in the wrong direction he gently nudges you back on path. When you find something to smile at, and he knows it is worth your smile he smiles along side you. Where will you find your desire and past that meets your future embrace of happiness?
Soon hand in hand.
Hug nature.
“Grave was the man in years, in looks, in word, his locks were grey, yet was his courage [ever so] green.”
~Tasso
I remember the days sitting in the quad, under the sun and the cherry blossoms. My alma mater, Bucknell was 168 long miles from the love of life at the time in New York City. Days like this made it seem as though time had no respect for love or emotions. Petals fell off her tiny nose, and tears made it stick to her cheeks. I can still remember the smell of fresh cut grass and her perfume mixed in the air.
Spring skipped most of us this year, but my memories of spring from years ago
still haunt me with each floral scent.
I pissed in a flower this weekend, what did you do?
Spring came back.
Ravenous red.
Purple power.
Stemina.
LA was blossoming.
See Sepia is ok. Sometimes.
I stood there, not remembering which was her favorite flower. I knew she liked yellow, and her favorite color was orange. I paused for yet another moment and in the frustration of the rain I saw one solo drop fall on the birds of paradise. That was it.
My grandma loved the flowers, and I ate her home made roti’s in minutes.
Happy holidays coming up tumblrs.
