New gear meant a new visit to Suneil, my older brother. Follow him for great landscape shots, wedding shoots, and amazing destination photography. He actually manages to travel more than I do, yes that is possible.
Bhaiya, you taught me how to shave, how to bike, how to take photos, how to run, how to talk to women, and how to develop a work ethic & a moral compass. You taught me the importance of also having traditions, whether is is a one day ski trip every year or taking a photo of Ganesha as your first shot. You made me realize there is a significance to rituals and honor. I feel privledged to call you my older brother and I am sorry for any anxiety or pain I ever caused in your life. But I am entertaining right…?

“My face itches from so much makeup. And my head itches from all the hairspray. I live off icepacks and tictacs and mountian dew. And lots of pain killers. What has my life come to? Dancing when I know I shouldn’t be. Is this really what I want to do with my life? And then I look out. And see the faces of people I don’t know. and I realize. Yeah…. This is what I want. So I tape my ankle. Button dresses. Pin head pieces. Tie shoes. And I sit go. I sit on the stage. I think thats my favorite part. Getting to the theater before anyone else is there. And the curtain is up. The house lights are on but the stage is dark. I sit on the edge. With my legs hanging over into the orchestra pit. And I look out. I try to fill each seat in my head. With a face. A person. Each one having a story. But we don’t know anything about them. Just that they paid x amount of dollars to sit here for 2 hours. But they know us. They watch us pour our hearts out. Everything we do. You feel it. You feel what we feel. Do they come here for that sense of emotion? Do they come to feel human? Or do they come to know they’re not the only ones that hurt.”
Katie is a brilliant & beautiful ballerina. Give her a follow, she will make you laugh, smile and want to hug your screen. Now who would not want that? She also wrote the moving narrative above about her past week….she could use some ask’s and hugs.

Do any of you have that one friend who is always randomly there for you? Jayson has been there for me when I was laid off, when I had a broken heart, and when I was just promoted. Never prompted or obligated, he would come out of his way to come meet for a drink, or text me to make sure I am ok.
Unconditional friendships are rare, and even more rare is a friend who will have the patience and fortitude to yell at me every week to get on the bike more.
Follow Jayson if you would love a great blog in your dashboard ladies & gents.
and I am done for the day.
