Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Nothing is more humbling than getting lost in a city you think you know inside out. Maybe it was the late night, the 3am work emails, or tears running down my cheeks, but I was as lost as I ever was this morning mentally and physically. I stopped, took a deep breath and realized that even though I am indian I have never eaten true Jackson Heights indian food. Right then and there I got off the train and gave up on my Hudson -like attempt to navigate the outer boroughs of the MTA.
After a full meal and a charged iphone I put myself together and took over the day. Moral of the story, bring tums to Jackson Heights.
Better than subway?
